What are the characteristics of precision injection mold machining?
When machining precision injection molds, the molds are divided into upper molds and lower molds, and the molding work is completed in the processing of CNC machine tools. According to the shape of the product, the corresponding male parts are processed. In the fly mold, the assembly completes the precision injection mold. The main points in the machining of precision injection molds are as follows:
1. The machining accuracy is required to be particularly high. Generally, the components of a pair of precision injection molds are composed of front and rear mold bases and mold cores. In the machining process, the upper and lower molds are combined, and each workpiece is closely matched to improve the machining accuracy of precision injection molds.
2. The shape of the workpiece is more complicated. During the machining of precision injection molds, many workpieces with complex shapes will be encountered. For example, auto parts and electronic parts, etc., have various shapes and are composed of various curved surfaces. These parts have relatively high requirements for precision injection mold cavities, which require very complex design and calculation to complete.
3. There are many machining processes for precision injection molds. Mold machining needs to go through multiple processes, which are interlinked and indispensable. It cannot be completed without a single process.
4. Batch production can be repeated. Generally speaking, the service life of precision injection molds can reach 300,000 times. Repeatable production is possible.
5. using high-quality mold materials. In order to make the use time of the mold longer, most of them are made of high-quality alloy steel, which has a longer service life.
